
Park Brothers
The Park Brothers came together as a guitar duo studying under one of the world’s preeminent guitar virtuosos of the classical guitar, Christopher Parkening. The duo’s virtuosic technique combined with expressive artistry have captivated and delighted audiences as far away as Montreal, Canada and Heidelberg, Germany. The brothers enjoy collaborating and working together, as they complement each other with a natural synergy of sounds, bringing enchantment and enjoyment back to classical music.

Park Brothers
The Park Brothers are a guitar duo whose exciting performances and innovative programming havecaptivated audiences world wide. They are from Los Angeles, CA and enjoy collaborating and working together, as they complement each other with a natural syngergy of sounds. The brothers have played concerts in countries such as the United States, Canada, Germany, and Austria. They have also performed in a tribute concert honoring the Spanish guitar virtuoso, Andrés Segovia, alongside the Grammy® Award winning artists, the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet and Andrew York in 2019. They are also the recipient of the USC Ensemble Award for making a significant contribution to upholding the long tradition of guitar ensemble excellence.
They are both currently teaching the guitar at Pepperdine University as Adjunct Professors of Music. They both studied the classical guitar under the world’s preeminent virtuoso of the classical guitar, Christopher Parkening, who said “Alex and Wesley make beautiful music on the guitar by using tonal colors and contrasts. They utilize the entire range of the guitar to bring out the intrinsic beauty of the instrument.” They have also studied privately with Angel Romero, Scott Tennant, and Andrew York.
Alex Park
Alex Park is an artist, international concert guitarist, and educator. Alex has received numerous competition awards including the Thomas M. Osborn Concerto Competition, Parkening International Guitar Competition, and the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Competition. Alex received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Pepperdine University studying under Christopher Parkening, and received his Master of Music degree from California State University Fullerton studying under Andrew York. He is currently attending the University of Southern California to pursue his Doctor of Musical Arts degree studying under Scott Tennant. In addition to the classical guitar, Alex has worked on film and media projects as a session guitarist and film composer. Most notably, he recorded on the guitar for the soundtrack of Lew Wallace: Shiloh Soldier, Ben Hur Bard, an Emmy Award winning documentary in the Musical Composition/Arrangement category. Alex uses and is endorsed by Augustine Strings.
Wesley Park
Wesley Park is a concert classical guitarist and educator from the Los Angeles area. Wesley is currently teaching the guitar at Pepperdine University as an Adjunct Professor of Music. On top of his work at Pepperdine, he has a private studio of dedicated students. He received his Masters of Music degree from the University of Southern California studying under Scott Tennant, and he received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Pepperdine University studying under Christopher Parkening. He is currently pursuing a
Doctorate of Musical Arts degree at the University of Southern California. He has also studied privately with the Spanish Guitar Virtuoso, Angel Romero. When not engaged in musical activities, Wesley also enjoys surfing, trying out new restaurants, and participating in the devotional activities at his church, Citizens LA.
